Alluvium Planter

Alluvium Planter

The Alluvium Planter is a swift brush of motion translated in high-fire stoneware. Designed by ORCA and handmade by second generation potters Atelier Vierkant.

Each planter begins with a clay body enriched with grog for strength and stability and kneaded by hand. The clay is shaped into large slabs, which are then joined into a singular form and etched by hand to evoke geological matter imprinted upon by centuries of climactic shifts. The vessel undergoes a single high-temperature firing of about 65 hours, and is left unglazed to articulate the clay's raw beauty and inherent character.

The Alluvium Planter is available in two sizes and four earth-derived hues.
